In this role the successful candidate will take responsibility for the E-Commerce platform of the business and will maintain the website and also the E-bay sales, working with two of the four directors as well as undertaking face-to-face sales in-store.

Day to day duties will include: 

  • Updating the stock sales on the E-bay shop (photographs, descriptions, prices etc.)
  • Preparing for dispatch the sales through the E-bay shop
  • Answering queries from customers
  • Updating the website
  • Meeting, greeting and helping customers that visit the retail store

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Confident and out-going personality as this is fundamentally a sales role. Given this fact, good communication skills face-to-face and on the phone are very important. Good understanding and capability with computers is a must due to the maintenance of the organisations E-bay site.

Personal qualities

Punctual, capable and confident with a sense of your own initiative. 

Qualifications required

Minimum A-C GCSE in Maths, English and IT.

Future prospects

Progression in to Sales Management in a full-time permanent role for the right candidate.

Training provider

At the end of your training you will have completed a level 2 Apprenticeship in Sales. You will achieve this by attending a combination of classroom taught modules and on the job training.

You will complete a BTEC in Sales to gain the knowledge to perform effectively in your job role. Within the workplace you will demonstrate your competence through the performance of tasks achieving an NVQ also.
