Support Worker required for a home care service in Surrey, Farnborough and nearby areas. You will be required to work with children and elderly. Training will be provided. An enhanced DBS check will need to be carried out. Must have a driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
Support workers/carers required for home care service in Surrey and Hampshire area. The role involves working with disabled children and adults with learning and physical disabilities in home environment. Providing personal care and companionship as required.
The candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check for children and adult service, must be willing to attend ongoing training, supervision and appraisals.
The duties may involve:
- Assisting service users to get up and get dressed
- Assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, cooking, light cleaning
- Assisting with shopping and attending appointments.
They will be required to work in the Guildford, Surrey and Hampshire surrounding areas (Aldershot, Farnborough, Alton) and will therefore need a clean driving licence.
They must also have access to a car with business insurance and willing to use their car for business purposes - they will be able to claim any mileage used.
Working hours include mornings, evenings and weekends.
