This is a client-side role; the right candidate will hold a professional manner and be able to visualise and interpret customer issues in a timely manner. There will be a portion of your time spent with the client, whilst you will also be:


  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Respond to Helpdesk requests remotely
  • Logging tickets, tracking and assisting with helpdesk calls
  • Hardware and software repairs
  • Installation of hardware and software
  • Carry out network documentation and reporting
  • Assisting with sourcing spare parts and replacement equipment
  • Assisting Technical team with maintenance tasks and installs


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Experience of Hardware Repair and Troubleshooting
  • Experience of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver solutions to meet customer SLA’s
  • Able to pass Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS)

  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and able to work effectively in a team
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Strong customer facing skills, with an awareness of varying client technical skills

Qualifications required

Ideally a minimum 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)

Training provider

Throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship you will be required to attend the 3aaa Technology Academy in Kings Cross Academy for up to 8 weeks on a block release basis for structured training. The remainder of your training will be completed in the workplace with your Employer. You will work towards a Level 3 standard Trailblazer in IT. The qualifications consist of:

  • Level 3 diploma Infrastructure Technician
  • Level 2 Functional skills in English, Math and IT (Where applicable)
