We are a growing event catering business based in Staplehurst looking for someone to help grow further. We are a high end caterer with high standards, we provide a full range of dishes including 3 course menus, BBQ’s, buffets, canapes and mini bowls so there’s a huge amount to learn. We find no two events are ever the same providing the needed variety to feel fresh in your work.

Prep & event day differ, prep days are from our business address in Staplehurst where you’ll learn about how to organise huge functions logistically from food to plates and glasses. Learn how to prep fresh food on larger scales whilst keeping quality. Develop your dish knowledge due to our wide range on offer.

Event days are the fruition of the hard prep work done before, so we can finish and present our foods to the highest quality. From canapes to evening food excellence is required throughout.

Qualifications required

A*-D GCSE's in Maths and English or equivalent on entry. 

Future prospects

A full time job would be most likely to be on offer at the end of the initial contract with the chance to progress and earn more within the company.

Things to consider

Applicants are expected to find their way to venues so need to travel (within 40 minute) This can be a physically demanding role, you will also be working in different locations. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.40 per hour from 1st October 2016. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
