Accounts Responsibilities:


  • Processing credit card payments.
  • Posting customer cheques or credit card payments onto Allcap Computer System (OGL)
  • Open/sort post and frank mail


  • Matching supplier invoices on Allcap Computer System,  (OGL)
  • Scan supplier invoices.
  • Check prices on order acknowledgements
  • Speak to Customer to recover overdue accounts
  • Collate and send statements, invoices and copy invoices to customers
  • Process credit applications and set up new accounts

Sales support responsibilities


  • Filing of customer orders and supplier delivery notes
  • Scan delivery notes and file within the Allcap computer system. (OGL)
  • Processing customer orders – ensuring correct delivery information, checking prices of items, sending order acknowledgements
  • Converting quotations
  • Answering the telephone and directing calls


  • Liasing with couriers to ensure shipping of goods on time
  • Assist with depot 2 orders/layouts and drawing storage.

General Administration

Qualifications required

C Grade GCSE, or above, in Maths/ English/ ICT or equivalent desirable.

Things to consider

Busy, fast paced, working environment. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From 1st October 2016 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.40 per hour. From 1st April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
