Faltec Europes Paint & Polish apprenticeships are ideally suited to individuals who are passionate about painting and wish to train within a hands-on role.
This apprenticeship will specialise in Paint Spraying & Polishing.
Much of your training is completed on-the-job within the paint shop environment where you are assigned a mentor. You also attend college and other off-the-job training courses aimed at enhancing the skills you develop within the workplace.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of the wet paint spraying/powder coating equipment
  • Maintaining equipment to high quality and safety standards

Candidates must be over the age of 18 years due to the required shift systems operated by the employer.

Qualifications required

  • Candidates are required to have a good standard of English and Maths preferably at grades A-E or equivalent

Future prospects

After completion of an 8 week training programme, the successful operators will be offered an apprenticeship with Faltec Europe. It is envisaged that these positions will lead to permanent roles, subject to the needs of the business at the end point. You will attend an 8 week induction/training programme at Sunderland College prior to starting your apprenticeship.

Things to consider

Start – 3 months = £4.60 per hour 4 – 6 months = £5.75 per hour 7 – 9 months = £6.91 per hour 10 – 12 months = £8.06 per hour 13 months = £8.97 per hour Candidates must be over the age of 18 years due to the required shift systems operated by the employer.
