An exciting opportunity has arisen at Alpha-Cure Ltd, an international manufacturing company based in Woodford Halse (between Daventry, Northamptonshire and Banbury, Oxfordshire). We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice (Level 2) to join the team in the sales and customer service office to support sales and admin staff and work on a key sales database project.

  • Working with the sales team to update our database ensuring records are correct and up to date – this will require accurate data entry
  • Welcoming visitors to Alpha-Cure and using our online calendar system to book appointments for other staff
  • Opening post and distributing accordingly
  • Ordering stationery and other office supplies
  • Arranging and attending the monthly sales team meeting, writing the agenda and taking minutes
  • Answering the telephone and directing enquiries to the appropriate member of staff
  • Assisting with the organisation of the Annual Company Review and Christmas meal
  • Carrying out general administrative duties such as filing, scanning and shredding

  • Confident and outgoing, happy to call businesses around the world checking we have the correct details for them and getting contact information for decision makers
  • Proactive and flexible approach to gathering information
  • A knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook. Training on this and our company systems will be given
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen to learn and progress in a company that is growing and expanding

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies
