    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Responsible for the administration of repairs on a day to day basis:

  • Liaising with both landlords, tenants and contractors to organise and ensure a prompt repairs service
  • Instructing maintenance staff and contractors
  • Ordering supplies
  • Basic accountancy duties to including processing payment for contractor invoices and supplier invoices
  • Carry out Exit Inspections and associated paperwork / documentation to include any quotes and costs for damages
  • Deposit refunds through to completion
  • In going Inventories
  • Organise cleaning and repairs to properties in - between tenancies – preparing property to be re - rented in good condition

 Other Duties Include:

  • Negotiate lettings and sales
  • Organising referencing of prospective tenants and liaising with referencing companies to completion
  • Draw up Tenancy Agreements and other tenancy documentation
  • Liaise with tenants and landlords to agree tenancy terms
  • Customer services both via telephone and face to face
  • Prioritise work to complete referencing and tenancy agreements in a timely manner
  • Complete other related paperwork as directed
  • Perform other duties as directed and follow policies and procedures
