The hairdressing apprenticeship role will include: covering Reception, meeting and greeting clients, offer refreshments booking appointments, answering the telephone, liaising with stylists and some stock control. In addition they will also shampoo and condition hair, removal of colours & offer treatments.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
An exciting opportunity to become a hairdressing apprentice has arisen for a fantastic salon based in Wyken area of Coventry.
They are looking to recruit a enthusiastic team player of smart appearance who has a passion for hairdressing, and a willingness to take the initiative and help to offer a unique customer experience.
The role will involve:
- Working on Reception
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Receive and make telephone calls
- Offer treatments
- Maintain a safe working environment.
The salon will support and develop you as a trainee stylist, in conjunction with day release at Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber Training, where you will cover all aspects of ladies' hairdressing for you to achieve your Level 2 diploma.
