We are looking to recruit a Warehousing and Storage Apprentice. 

To unpack, check and store goods received from suppliers.  Be fully aware of own responsibility as well as Company’s Health & Safety processes and procedures including manual handling.

Principal Activities and Responsibilities include;

  • Safe loading/handling/unloading of all stock
  • Improve your spatial awareness, so that you can quickly and efficiently load objects of different shapes and sizes
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders
  •  Maintains quality service by following organization and quality standards
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply area, complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • To maintain health and safety standards at all times
  • To fulfill training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development
  • To keep a safe tidy and clean place of work for you, other employees and visitors
  • Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
  • Maintain high levels of health and safety awareness and report any areas of concern to manager immediately

  • Beyond your academic qualifications, we’ll be looking for evidence that you are genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about developing a career in your chosen area.

Qualifications required

Future prospects

Full time position planned for the right candidate based on successful completion of the apprenticeship process and company finances at the time.

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
