To work within the teams whereby you will be responsible for processing customer’s day to day orders and maintaining the day-to-day data of customer accounts. This will include system maintenance, field force maintenance and customer contact.

To be the lunchtime cover for the Main Reception and switchboard and during times of absence (e.g. holidays and sickness) and increased workloads and to be the first point of cover for all Reception related duties, including by not limited to:

  • Welcoming and booking in CPG Visitors
  • Handling all incoming calls and dealing with appropriately
  • Managing all aspects of incoming and outgoing postage
  • Arranging meeting refreshments including buffet lunches and room preparation.

To be aware of others within the office and the warehouse and when they need assistance be prepared to help in a willing and positive manner.

To ensure everything is running to the customers satisfaction and ensure we are exceeding their expectations. To ensure that you immediately escalate any customer service issues to your line manager and be proactive in the provision of excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications required

GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent.

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
