Tuffa UK Limited are now recruiting an enthusiastic Office Administrator to complement their team based in Uttoxeter. It is hoped that the successful candidate will join the team and play their part in the successful running of the office.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Tuffa are recruiting an enthusiastic Office Administrator to complement their office team. They require a positive and enthusiastic person. Someone who, above all, is willing to learn. This means you don’t need to have previous experience but A*- C GCSE results or equivalent would put you at a very strong advantage.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Scanning, filling and archiving paperwork
- Creating draft documents
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Greeting visitors
- Following company procedure and workflow arrangements
- Recording, updating and archiving information
- Research for other departments- usually online
- Use of office equipment (photocopier, fax machine etc.)
Requirements and prospects
Candidates must be well organised with effective communication skills. An excellent telephone manner is required and candidates must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. The successful candidate will understand their role in the team, be able to take direction, follow procedures and keen to learn. A systematic and methodical approach, with attention to detail is required.
The successful candidate must have a desire to learn and be smart in appearance. They will be motivated with a responsible outlook and be prepared to work hard in a small business.
Maths and English GCSE grade A* - C/4, or equivalent, would put you at a distinct advantage.
