The successful candidate will carry out the following job duties:

  • First point of contact on reception desk at office entry
  • Presenting a professional image to all of our guests and clients entering the business
  • Answering the phone and directing calls appropriately or taking messages
  • Responsible for keeping meeting rooms tidy and ready for use at all times
  • Ensuring all visitors receive a first class experience when entering the building
  • Opening the post and distributing to relevant staff members
  • Dealing with outgoing post ensuring post is correctly franked and collected
  • A range of administration duties as and when required

Future prospects

To become a valued member of the Baldwin's administration team and over time there is a potential to move into other administrative roles.

Things to consider

An assessor from In-Comm will visit the successful candidate once a month for a period of twelve months in order to deliver the qualification to the candidate. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
