Your daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Work within technical / quality team.
  • Develop skills and experience through cylinder inspection & testing through to G6 then G5 inspector.
  • Develop skills and experience through understanding and use / handling of technical aspects of gas and chemicals
  • Develop skills in TPED / DNV standards, gas cylinder bundle manufacture & development.
  • Continuous improvement of production / qualiy techniques and equipment.
  • Carry out conformity assessments.

Training provider

The successful applicant will join a structured Semta Apprenticeship Service Intermediate Apprenticeship, where they will complete a Level 2 NVQ Diploma relevant to their job role, a Level 2 Technical Certificate at a local College, ERR, Level 1 Functional Skills in Communication and Application of Number (if required) and PLTS. On completion of the Apprenticeship programme, there may be an opportunity to progress to an Advanced Apprenticeship Engineering.
