Purpose

The main purpose of this roles is to:

  • Provide adminstrative support for all aspects of the organisation;
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment and general HR activities (including enquries from the public).

Duties

  • Organise and maintain records and data systems - Employment and HR Administration;
  • Act as first point of contact for all enquires;
  • Administer payroll (including recording sickness absence etc);
  • Liaise and source references, offer letters, contracts of employment, disclosure checks and other correspondence.

Other general administrative duties

  • The use of a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office;
  • Booking training rooms and conference facilities for staff;
  • Using content management systems to maintain and update websites and internal databases;
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and keep notes;
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment;
  • Sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post;
  • Photocopying, filing and printing

GCSE Grades A-C or equivalent preferred but not essential

Future prospects

Once the successful applicant has finished their apprenticeship they will have to opportunity to progress onto Level 3 Qualification.
