Future prospects

There will be a long term ability to become an integral member of the team.

Things to consider

The work is physically hard and largely outdoors in all weathers conditions, throughout the year. The hours are varied depending on the balance of work in the yard at any one time. Generally a job once started needs to be finished. 37 hours is the minimum contract offered. The rota will vary week by week, but will include afternoon/evening and regular weekend working. The job is in the country and the ability to get to site at varying times of day without the reliance on public service transport is essential. There is no accommodation provided by this employer. This position is available for an immediate start. The vacancy may therefore close swiftly IF a suitable candidate is found. All published dates can therefore be flexible and will be dependent on suitable candidates coming forward and registering appropriate interest. From April 2017 this rises to £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
