An excellent opportunity to become a uniquely qualified highly skilled engineer in a world wide industry with a market leading successful company.

The successful candidate will learn all aspects of the business with the aim of specialising in the installation and maintenance of equipment in customers premises across the UK. The role will initially include a cross business training and familiarisation phase, including initial engineering training on machine and software. The machines are highly advanced and include operating Software and Electronic control units alongside electro/mechanical components. There will be a growing emphasis on site installation and maintenance as your engineering knowledge develops. The role is also customer facing so your people skills will also be developed to represent the company in a professional manner. The Software, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering skills are the core essential requirements of the role and your aim will be to become fully skilled across the range of equipment. Continually developing your skills to become a fully skilled member of the service team working on customers premises to resolve customer service support issues.

  • Producing and maintaining accurate records in accordance with role requirements.
  • Demonstrating continual commitment to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualifications required

  • The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good I.T. skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required.
  • Possession of a full, clean driving licence or plans to obtain one will be an advantage as it will be required for the role.

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
