The Role:

Duties will include:

Working from the business' office/showroom at Thorncliffe Park, which has a gym and cafe on site, have an exciting and varied role. As well as working in the office, you will also be on the Trade Counter, Pick and Pack stock and help with printing and embroidery production.

Working in a small team of established staff, there is scope to try lots of new tasks in both production and an office environment. There is also scope to learn basic art/design, advertising and accounts systems.

  • Communicating with customers and buyers, both face to face and email
  • Stock handling
  • Processing orders
  • Occasionally working on the production floor
  • Opportunity to develop skills in printing and embroidery of garments
  • Occasional lifting, handling, climbing and carrying stock
  • Any other ad hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate will study a Level 2 qualification in Trade Business Services. This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work based learning, within the workplace.


Hours and Wage

  • 37.5 Hours Per Week. Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30
  • £187.50 Per Week

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
