JOB SUMMARY:

The individual must be well organised, be good at working to deadlines and enjoy working as part of a team.  The role will be office based at our Low Fell branch and the individual must be computer literate.  The duties will include:

  • Sending out referencing forms via email to prospective tenants
  • Comunicating with clients on a daily basisis
  • Chasing forms to be returned by tenants
  • Inputting data into our referencing system
  • Reviewing the referencing outcome and reporting back to the Lettings Manager
  • Preparing renewal tenancy paperwork and arranging with tenants to come and sign this within the office
  • Speaking with potential tenants about any problems within their referencing process
  • Preparing Paperwork for tenants to move into properties
  • Meeting with tenants to go through this paperwork to move into a new property.
  • Other general day to day duties of the Lettings team.

You will be given full training and support by a well-established team in a fast-passed but enjoyable environment.  In return we ask you give 100% to role, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Things to consider

Can you get to and from this location on time on a daily basis? All suitable candidates will be required to undertake a 4 week training course at Lowfell, however the position after will be based at Jesmond. The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
