Duties include:

  • To assist the research team in collating and analysing data
  • To assist in the preparation of presentations
  • To undertake desk research
  • To manage input and update of projects on Sharepoint
  • To support other members of the research agency in the efficient running of the business

On the Job Learning:

  • Project responsibility and accuracy
  • Client liaison and working alongside suppliers
  • Quantitative, sampling, analysis and report preparation
  • Qualitative techniques and sample recruitment
  • Digital marketing

Additional Training:

As well as on the Job Learning the successful applicant will benefit from industry training provided by The Market Research Society

The Apprentice will have a central role in the business from the start:

  • Co-ordinating and managing the input and update of projects on Sharepoint (Microsoft 365)
  • Contacting partner agencies to obtain costs and methodologies to support new business
  • Specific research project work: liaising with data processing suppliers to ensure research project timings are met

Qualifications required

  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent Grade B in Maths and English Language

Preferred but not essential:

  • GCSE or A level (or equivalent) qualification in Psychology and/or Sociology and it would be a bonus if you have A level Maths and English too.

Things to consider

If you are successful the dress code for the office is smart casual This position is mainly office based but there is the possibility that you may be sent out doing field work on behalf of clients

Training provider

  • Employment roles & responsibilities
  • GCSE, C and above grades or equivalent in these subject serve as exemptions

The qualifications are fully delivered within the workplace

You are assigned a personal tutor who will support and develop you to meet the qualification and workplace standards

You will also have a workplace supervisor who will support your professional development

No external college attendance is required
