    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    - Monday – Friday - 8:45am – 5pm with a 15 minute break and an hour lunch - 37.5 hours weekly - £131.25 weekly(£3.50 per hour)

Candidates will need to have a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel as they will be working alongside all departments including Finance, HR and Operations.

The successful candidate will be trained in the following areas:

  • Data management
  • Assisting the HR Department – chasing references  / creating files
  • Dealing with administration relating to all our care home situated all around the UK
  • Reception duties
  • Preparing boardroom for meetings
  • Scanning, photocopying and filing
  • Creating resident files / contracts
  • Knowledge will be gained in Purchase Ledger, Payroll and Sale Ledger roles
