Your role will be an Apprentice Cook; you will be required to learn all aspects of food preparation, presentation and hygiene with a busy kitchen.
You will be based in the Kitchen Department primarily, but some front of house duties may be required from time to time.
Your Key responsibility will be  food hygiene, preparation and presentation of quality dishes.
You  mentors by your colleagues and shift Team Leader

Your hours of work will be 5 days a week and will include weekends and bank holidays. You will work a minimum of 7.5 hours per day, a small amount of overtime may be required at the end of your shift if busy. Hours of work will be 9am till 4.30pm. all work is on a rota basis which may change from week to week, but 2 or 3 weeks notice will be given wherever possible.

Things to consider

The role does involve all tasks within a kitchen environment including the less exciting tasks such as pot washing, cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces which are all vital in a professional kitchen environment. The kitchen can be a very warm area due to the nature of the work Weekends get very busy.
