Duties Include:

  • Assist with processing weekly and monthly payroll for employers of varying sizes and complexities
  •  Assist with pension data gathering and distributing of data to pension providers
  •  Work with the team to get to know clients’ needs and build relationships
  • Assist with organising client files and ensuring they’re kept up to date
  • General administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and scanning documents
  •  Answering the telephone and eventually dealing with client queries

Qualifications required

  • Applicants should be highly numerate with a high degree of attention to detail. Must have achieved GCSE’s in Maths and English at grades A – C or grades 8 – 4 (if new version of GCSE’s have been taken) or equivalent. An IT qualification would be desirable. Applicants should have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel and Outlook).

Future prospects

• Initially a 3 year contract to be reviewed at the end of the term with the view to becoming permanent. • Applicants that are shortlisted will be required to attend a 3 day voluntary work trial with some assessment activities. This will include work experience within the department, a numeracy & literacy assessment and completion of a personality questionnaire. •There are many social events arranged for staff such as away days, team building activities etc. •Other benefits to include company pension scheme, death in service life insurance cover, access to many discounts etc
