The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
The successful candidate will be working in the office of a company that does specialised cleaning on both a commercial and domestic level. The candidate will be supporting the everyday running of the business.
The following daily tasks will be key:
- Logging data on the progress of cleaning jobs
- Answering the telephone a relaying messages and with training eventually advising clients
- With ongoing support and training, will devise and send out quotes to customers
- Dealing with both incoming and outgoing post
Requirements and prospects
- Excellent communication skills
- Good telephone manner
- Solid IT skills with good working knowledge of Office and Excel
- Reliable with a willingness to work hard
