Day to day activities will be planning for children’s activities, engaging with children in play at their level to support their learning and development, working with the staff team to consider how to best motivate the children to learn and maintaining high standards of care and education in a safe and stimulating environment.

Apprentices will report the senior early years practitioners, who form part of the junior management team. Senior practitioners report directly to the senior management team.

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
