Working alongside the existing team the role includes responsibilities such as;

  • Undertaking office reception duties, both in person and on the telephone, including taking messages for other staff
  • Operating manual and computerised office system, for example filing papers, maintaining databases, including data input of staff and customers on CM2000 (electronic monitoring) or equivalent databases
  • Dealing with the post, faxes and e-mail
  • Drafting and sending standard letters
  • Photocopying and collating papers and mailings
  • Arranging for documents to be printed
  • Monitoring stocks of basic items, for example stamps and stationary
  • Administrate the recruitment of new staff
  • Administrate all service users paperwork

The company will be moving to a new premises in Birmingham at the end of this year, applicants should be aware of this and be willing to travel to Birmingham. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check.

Training provider

  • QCF Level 2 in Business and Administration
  • Level 1 Functional Skills

Full training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required. An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/help you through you course. Continual assessment for NVQ’s coupled with assignments/or exams depending on course of study. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week.
