Future prospects

The technical department has a variety of roles that an apprentice could undertake on successful completion. The primary opportunity is to become an Applications Engineer, initially fulfilling customer training requirements. This involves both program and operation training predominantly on customer sites around the UK. They can then progress once they have gained further experience to completing 'Turnkey' projects where a machine tool is sold to a customer for a specific process. Other roles are possible in pre-sales in developing concepts to support the sales team in selling machines. The roles in the Technical department are varied and suit different skill sets from practical to theoretical.

Things to consider

The initial 18 months training will be delivered at The Marches Centre of Manufacturing & Technology, in Bridgnorth. Please ensure you are able to travel there, as well as to the company, Chiron Werke UK Limited.
