Your core duties in this role will be to transfer data from catalogues onto spreadsheets using MS Excel, therefore good IT and attention to detail is required. You will also be in charge of running marketing email campaigns, managing marketing calendar and collecting databases. Alongside this your other core duties will be to obtain floor plans of the exhibitions by making email and phone enquiries to the event organisers.

There are other duties that form part of this role such as assisting the marketing team to organise databases and help the sales department by making telephone calls and sending out emails to potential clients.

You will also be required to assist the term with other general office duties as and when required such as answering the telephone, dealing with email, photocopying and filing.

For the right candidate it is possible that this apprenticeship may lead to the position of Marketing Manager in time.

This is an apprenticeship and so full training will be provided.

Qualifications required

GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*- D English and Maths.

Future prospects

Potential for full time employment for the right candidate. There are opportunities to progress from a Level 2 to a Level 3 qualification. Things to consider

If you do not meet the criteria for this position, your application will not be considered. From 1st April 2017, the NMW for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16 - 18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training. Interview: We will be interviewing candidates who meet the criteria as they apply and will recruit after a successful interview which may be before the closing date. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst awaiting for your first wages to be paid. Travel information: Candidates should be aware that there are no public transport links and therefore reliable access to transport would be ideal.
