Who you’ll work for

As a IT Technical Sales Apprentice your job includes:

  • Working with the internal architecture team to understand existing client landscapes, review ongoing projects and understand technology in place
  • Weekly Training on industry based technology to increase personal knowledge and understanding of how technology can help the SME market
  • Develop new business, telephone, Email Marketing, digital marketing and social media to introduce solutions and services and identify appropriate prospects within the target market.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Build and create own prospects/relationships by initiating communications and regular relevant follow-up communications in order to progress opportunities.
  • Conduct new business analysis and determine prospects risks and issues to determine what solutions can meet their needs.
  • Identify key decision makers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.
  • Work with the Team Leader to agree Sales goals and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM and any other software tools provided, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
  • Prepare and analyse sales pipeline reports and report back business statistics.
  • Preparing email, website contents with latest marketing information from Microsoft.

Qualifications required

You don’t need loads of professional experience in IT. However, you’ll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and IT / Science.

Future prospects

By working hard and demonstrating your ability, drive and commitment throughout your 13 month apprenticeship scheme, upon completion you will be offered a permanent contract ensuring you have further opportunities to continue growing within this exciting organisation.
