    The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

We have an exciting Apprenticeship opportunity in the Human Resources Department to support and help develop our processes relating to HR systems management, workforce information and our reward and recognition schemes.  In exchange, we will support you in your learning and development activities which will lead to your Apprenticeship qualification in Business Services. 

You will already have good general IT skills, including being proficient in the use of Excel, and will seek to use and develop these skills to support the team and identify opportunities to make processes more efficient.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing an exemplary and timely customer service.  You will be comfortable working without close supervision and be able to plan, organise and prioritise your work to meet deadlines.  You will have positive and flexible approach to your work, supporting the team and ensuring your own development objectives are met.

This is a varied role, supporting key HR activities and initiatives, providing you with exposure and experience to start your career in HR

Training provider

Lifelong Learning and Skills work to match employers to training providers and help recruit suitable candidates. The Training Provider will be confirmed with you at a later stage however you should bear in mind that you may need to attend day release courses with your Training Provider and may need to travel for this. Apprenticeship Qualifications may include an NVQ, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills, Employee Rights Workbook and Functional Skills.
