Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will support the Food and Beverage team by:

  • Greeting and communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Helping the kitchen team prepare and deliver menu items in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Assisting in minimising waste.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Keeping all kitchen and storage areas clean and tidy and to ensure stock rotation is effectively carried out.
  • Adhering to set portion control systems.

Qualifications required

None needed however maths and english will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future prospects

There is the chance to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship upon successful completion of a Level 2 qualification

Things to consider

Please ensure that you can get to and from the venue and varying times. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
