As such we are seeking a Business Administration Apprentice. This is an all-encompassing role where you will have a varied and challenging workload. You will need to be organised with the ability to work under pressure and actively participate in the growth of Anthony Alexandra.

The ideal candidate for this position will be supportive, flexible and innovative approaching this role with enthusiasm.

Day-to-day duties will include:

  • Managing and maintaining our candidate and client database ensuring updates are done in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure registration process is fully completed on database.
  • Answering calls within 3 rings and transferring calls to relevant Consultant.
  • Email messages correctly to relevant Consultant or Director.
  • Produce candidate CVs.
  • Updating the activity boards.
  • After sales care including, Regular contact with placed candidates through their probation period.
  • Greeting onsite visitors.
  • Distribute incoming post and outgoing mail.
  • Assist the Director with tasks such as stationary orders, office supplies and general administration.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, reliable, punctual, consistent, articulate and well-presented
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise

Qualifications required

Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C and above or equivalent including Maths, English and IT.

Future prospects

A potential full time permanent position for the right candidate. Our last apprentice has progressed and has been with us for 5 years.

Things to consider

Weekly wage is negotiable depending on experience. Plus there will be bonus. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
