About the employer

I am an Ofsted Registered child-minder with over 20 years’ experience of caring/looking after children of all ages. I offer a warm, loving environment within a lovely childcare setting which has an enclosed garden off Rolleston road. I have two young boys who currently attend a school in Repton and 2 older step children who have now left home to further their careers through University courses I have been looking after children ever since I was 16 running children’s clubs for a period of at least 10 years. I have experience of dealing with children who have special needs and thrive on making a difference for them. I help out on school trips and when they do activities that require additional resource. I look forward to each day and plan plenty of indoor and outdoor activities from making decorations and biscuits to going to the park or local farms. I believe children learn and develop so much through play and interacting with other children which is why I always try and have a minimum of two children within the early year’s category. I am degree qualified and have completed many childcare courses around the Early Years Framework. I will have a couple of full or part time vacancies starting in the New Year. I also offer term time only childcare (subject to availability). My fees are competitive starting from just £3.50 per hour
