A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the NHS, delivering administrative and receptionist support to a practice in Chiswick. This is a fantastic start to your career if you are looking to get into receptionist, administrative or a clinical based role.

Main duties:

  • Answering the telephone politely and promptly
  • Assisting patients
  • Booking appointments using SystmOne
  • Locating patient notes and returning them to the carousels after use
  • Ensuring all house calls are recorded fully
  • Ensuring all urgent messages are dealt with appropriately
  • Ensuring all doctors’ doors are locked when not in use
  • Ensuring all doctors’ examination couches are clean and bins emptied using the appropriate precautions
  • Switching on reception computers in the morning and off in the evening
  • Booking ambulances when requested by a doctor
  • Booking patient transport to and from the hospital for out-patient appointments
  • Filing prescriptions
  • Booking treatment room for minor operations and coil fits
  • General duties as required
  • To adhere to the rules surrounding Patient Data Confidentiality
  • Ensure own actions promote equality, diversity and individual rights
