Main responsibilities

  • Draw, check & amend AutoCAD files of buildings (plans for planning permission, lease plans etc) and floor plans.
  • Liaise with clients and their vendors to arrange appointments to visit the properties.
  • Organise your own diary and manage your appointments in accordance with our standard procedures.
  • Visit properties to measure them and produce a floor plan sketch in accordance with Floorplanz standards and guidelines.
  • Answer client calls & emails and deal with requests
  • Liaise with our network of surveyors allocating and booking in jobs.
  • Download OS maps and send to our network of surveyors
  • Send the final drawings to the clients in the required specification and format
  • General administration tasks and support to the Associate Director.

Specific skills & attributes needed

  • Ability to work on own initiative and without direct supervision
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Excellent telephone phone manner and communication skills
  • General business skills (use of CRM system, MS office and diary management)
  • Full clean driving license as you will be regularly out servicing local clients.

Personal qualities

  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications required

Minimum of 4 GCSE grades A* - D or 3 to 9 to include English and Maths or equivalent.
