Duties may change from time to time to meet changing circumstances but will include all the duties deemed appropriate to supporting the16-19 Admissions and Marketing function. These will include:

  • General office duties
  • Answering the telephone relaying messages from internal/external customers
  • Dealing with the mail
  • Data entry
  • Liaison with bus operators, students and other college staff
  • Dealing with enquiries and giving out information both verbally and by post
  • Liaise with bus operators/students and College Administration
  • Deal with transport queries/problems
  • Liaise with bus drivers and students on the concourse as necessary
  • Work the bus board software on an evening
  • Scan local press for articles relating to College and produce copies for office/college use
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail for Marketing through liaison with the Office Assistant
  • Assist with general office administration including timetabling of Sampling, New Student Days and their evaluations
  • Have access to the College MIS system for Admissions taking a key role in data entry to the QL system
  • Carry out telephone surveys ie early leavers, non-applicants,parental satisfaction, destinations

Qualifications required

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade A* - C or equivalent or willingness to work towards these qualifications.
