  • Supporting the ICT Helpdesk by receiving ICT problems and requests via e-mail, telephone and in person
  • Logging each service request on the ICT Helpdesk software
  • Working with the ICT Team to analyse each service request via the ICT Helpdesk in order to assign an appropriate priority
  • Diagnose, respond and correct faults, escalating complex issues to the ICT Co-ordinator
  • To maintain/install computer equipment/software within the hospice or its external premises eg shops
  • Assist the ICT Co-ordinator and the ICT Support Assistant in the day-to-day technical support of St Luke's network and communication systems
  • Assist with the maintenance of the ICT
  • Asset Register
  • Assist in the monitoring of all relevant stock levels
  • Perform PC and printer repairs whilst complying with Health and Safety procedures
  • Assist the ICT Co-ordinator in providing an efficient technical support by organising meetings, preparing technical and training manuals and preparing slide shows and presentations as required
  • Assist and support users on hardware and software as required.

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
