    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

In this role, you will be part of a small team responsible for the development and maintenance of the websites to support the digital marketing efforts of the company. There may also be some graphics development work involved. You will be directly involved in the implementation of SEO and online marketing. As you develop your skills, you will be working extensively throughout your apprenticeship with the following products/applications:

• Bootstrap
• WordPress
• Javascript

Eventually you will be involved with live site manipulation, which requires a great deal or care and attention to detail.

This is a great opportunity to understand client requirements and use your creative and technical skills to fully meet their needs. You will be developing online marketing strategies, SEO and the ability to analyse and improve performance using analytical tools.
