Server Factory, established in 2010 and now enjoying significant growth, seeks an apprentice to support the business expansion. The company specialises in the integration of rack-mount servers and storage solutions and also provides professional support services to clients.

The company is currently located in Chesham and enjoys a customer base which includes internet providers, hosting companies and IT related businesses, financial sector companies and universities.

Key responsibilities will include:

Accounts Payable:

  • Posting invoices
  • Coding invoices
  • Payment runs

Accounts Receivable:

  • Credit control
  • Statement issue
  • Customer contact

Stock Control:

  • Booking products into store
  • Order processing
  • Stock take
  • Returns processing
  • Purchasing

General Administration Duties:

  • Generating quotations
  • Reception and despatch of product
  • Telephone answering

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Numerate and literate
  • Good computer literacy, including Outlook and Excel
  • Interest in the IT sector

Qualifications required

Must have GCSE Maths and English Grades A-C. Or equivalent.  GCSE in IT preferred but not mandatory.
