This successful company are looking for an organised, dedicated Business Service Administrator to join the team. Your organisation planning and customer service skills will be key in helping the team and company grow. You will be fully supported and mentored during your apprenticeship and will have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of business operations and develop a wide range of business administration skills including:

  • Answer incoming customer calls.
  • Logging calls efficiently ensuring customers are always given a ticket reference number.
  • Constantly reviewing and monitoring queues to ensure calls are updated and completed within SLA’s. 
  • Allocating engineers to fault calls based on skill set and geographical area and liaise with Service Team for resourcing.
  • Prepare and monitor Out of Hours rota ensuring all relevant parties are updated on a weekly basis.
  • Produce ticket reports and respond to requests in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Presenting a courteous and professional image at all times.
  • Monitor and update engineering visits for contracted customers.
  • Ensure Engineering Schedules are updated at all times.

Qualifications required

  • The ideal candidate will have A – C grades in GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent).

Future prospects

A full time position with the company for the successful candidate upon completion of the Apprenticeship.

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
