Duties to Include

  • Reception duties
  • Updating pupil information
  • Assisting with all administrative requirements of a school office
  • Inbound and outbound telephone calls
  • Dealing with mail

This busy office environment will be a great place to learn new skills

  • Willing and able to complete all learning and assessment requirements of the relevant framework or standard;
  • Able to establish good working relationships with colleagues, pupils, parents and outside agencies;
  • Ability to travel to work location without assistance;
  • Good time-keeping and time management;
  • A commitment to the work ethic and ethos of the school.

Qualifications required

  • A minimum of GCSE pass Grade C in English and Maths. 
  • A candidate who does not meet these criteria may be provided with additional support in order to achieve this minimum standard.
  • Other qualifications, specific to role, may be required.

Future prospects

The Polesworth School hopes to be able to offer full employment to apprentice candidates on completion of their training in school or our wider Trust. However, no guarantee or offer can be made at this time.
