    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be expected to promote friendly, efficient & effective relationships with all customers and team members at all times.

You will be required to Represent Rookery manor well with the highest level of customer service delivered to its valued customers. Your daily duties may include:

  • Deliver food & drink orders to our guests in a timely manner
  • Upsell all Rookery Manor products and services
  • Interact with our guests with fantastic customer service
  • Set and clear tables to our operating standards
  • Gather customer feedback once meal has been served and report back to duty manager
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the restaurant at all times
  • Answer customer questions regarding food and beverage selections knowledgeably
  • Carry out reasonable requests that may be made by the Front of House Duty personnel or other senior members of the management team
