The role will include supporting the Marketing and Sales teams and the company Directors with general business administration.  Tasks may include:

  • Booking trains and accommodation
  • Researching potential customers and our market
  • Filing and postage
  • Assisting with marketing and website tasks.
  • Helping organise customer events and forums
  • Keeping our Customer database (CRM) up to date
  • Helping with pre-sales tasks
  • Assisting in building product demo sites for our software

Due to the nature of our customers the successful candidate must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times and follow our processes and procedures.

Dependent on the performance the successful candidate’s job role will be expanded and responsibilities will be increased in line with ability. 

The job holder will be required to work in various areas of the business units to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of administration. This will be via on the job training and formal training to establish knowledge and understanding.


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel to a good level. Good communication skills.  IT Savvy. 

Good level of Maths and English

Personal qualities

Bright, enthusiastic, good worth ethic. Pleasant and friendly team player, Keen to improve and learn new skills, trustworthy

Qualifications required

A-C (9-4) at GCSE in Mathematics and English or equivalent

Future prospects

Any successful applicant that performs well during the apprenticeship period will subsequently be offered a permanent position. Positions may include Further Business Administration support, Personal Assistant to MD, Support Roles or Sales Support are all feasible for the right individual depending on their skill set and aptitude.
