  • Ensuring software is documented and tested
  • Participating in problem identification, requirements gathering and solution design
  • Creating, updating and performing automated tests
  • Executing, editing and reporting against test cases and scripts
  • Performing web testing
  • Recording and Monitoring defects on the company’s bug tracking system
  • Liaising with the Development Team to verify issues that may arise during testing
  • Liaising with Developers on resolution and re-test
  • Ensuring that all defined quality procedures are followed throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Creating and executing test plans for each product or project

Experience required:

  • Any experience or knowledge of programming languages, specifically C# or PHP.
  • Any experience of querying relational SQL databases
  • Any knowledge of automated testing methods

Qualifications required

Desired Qualification:
•    5 GCSEs (Grades A-C in English & Mathematics
•    A Levels or BTEC

Training provider

Approximately 11% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 9% is done in the workplace, through online training, face-to-face meetings with your QA Technical Skills Coach, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
