    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Day to day duties will include:



  • Contacting learners with regards to course details and gathering personal information
  • Keeping all training rooms stocked with necessary stationery and equipment
  • Classroom set up for training courses & exams
  • Deal with training enquires via phone/email internal & external
  • General typing/creating new documents for training courses
  • Work closely with Sales for selling/cancelling and rearranging of courses
  • Assist with the management of course calendars
  • Creating training Registers
  • Creation of training materials and candidate packs
  • Liaise with Training Administration Manager and lecturers to ensure courses run smoothly
  • Ensuring that feedback reports are completed and returned by lecturing and assessment staff for all training courses.
  • Assist with the up keep and review of all systems.

Minimum A-D GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
