The candidates duties will consist of:

  • Working on a busy reception which handles lots of calls, the candidate must have appropriate sensitivity with all callers.
  • Commitment to providing quality service which will be a priority, whether customers are internal or external.
  • Booking appointments for clients.
  • Booking appointments for vets in certain area zones on certain days.
  • Organising and running a diary.
  • Answering incoming calls.
  • Booking bloods and sending samples.
  • Basic accounts.
  • Taking payments over the phone and counter.
  • Taking part in a cleaning rota and taking pride in the practice.
  • Ensuring the environment is kept clean and tidy at all times is everyone's responsibility.
  • Working through and checking insurance claims which require meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications required

Grade D or above in Math's and English GCSE or equivalent qualifications.

Things to consider

Saturdays will be on a rota basis; one Saturday in four.
