  • Learn to interpret wiring diagrams and technical instructions military specifications     
  • Learn how to cut and strip cables to create looms with all cables laced and terminated to drawing requirements
  • Mount looms onto frames assembling a variety of electrical devices to produce complex bespoke electrical assemblies
  • Complete TPG’s extensive training programme which will provide you with skills and knowledge you will need to succeed
  • You will learn to follow all the required protocols including anti-static precautions

Training provider

Throughout the duration of the foundation Apprenticeship you will be required to attend PETA’s Havant training centre for off-the-job training.  The majority of development training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.

This is a comprehensive training and development programme which starts with a day release training course followed by further day release to complete a level 3 Technical Certificate. Your initial training will be delivered as part of the Performing Engineering Operations NVQ at level 2
