Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Using 3D design packages/CAD
  • Learning the drawing office systems 
  • Producing engineering drawings
  • Creating manuals
  • Working with design team on projects
  • Develop materials knowledge
  • Develop fundamental engineering skills
  • Identifying and resolving problems

Transfer to the Design Office would take place following satisfactory performance on the shop floor as you become familiar with the products and production.

Qualifications required

GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science. A Level's would be desirable
