Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
As an apprentice Admin Support Assistant you will be working in an office based environment, where your duties will be:
- Answering incoming calls from individual and business customers.
- Helping website customers with price enquiries.
- Recording purchase invoices
- Recording sales invoices
- Bank reconciliation for sales
- Allocating sales and purchase payments
- Cashbook tasks
- Order processing
You will be working as part of a small but fast growing team, so communication skills and team-working abilities are essential.
You will be using an in house computer system and Sage 200 accounts to carry out these duties and will be provided with full training on all systems.
You must be an excellent communicator, with a keen interest in numbers and financial s. You must have excellent written ad spoken English. All your interactions with our customers will need to be highly professional as we are an organization that prides ourselves on customer service. You must be able to work under pressure, as everything we do is time critical.

Calm and considerate team worker. Due to the nature of the role, we suggest that (A* to C) GCSE or equivalent are desirable for the application for this role , with a strong bias towards Maths and English Language skills.

About the employer
This qualification underpins the full breadth of essential knowledge and understanding which would be needed by a competent employee functioning in a business administration role. The term ‘administration’ covers roles that involve organising people and resources, including, executive assistants, secretaries, administration assistants, data entry clerks and office juniors. As a business and administration apprentice, your exact course units will depend on your duties and the requirements of your employer.
You will be assigned a personal tutor who will plan an individual learning programme with you. This will be based around regular monthly tutorials in the workplace, workshops and if appropriate some online learning.
