    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The Campbell Dental Practice are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated individual to join the well-established team. During training, the individual will be supported by all staff members and by attending classes held by Total People.

The new team member will work as part of their skilled team in all aspects of dentistry, supporting our Dentists and Hygienist.

The tasks will include:

  • Full chair-side support
  • Sterilisation & performing cross-infection controls between patients
  • The mixing and handling of substances in accordance with COSHH
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety rules
  • Conduct themselves in a polite and courteous manner, promoting a professional image at all times
  • Attend refresher and update training on medical emergencies and CPR
  • Reception duties
